Shaker scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning to pull out an 8-6 victory over Christian Brothers Academy in a non-league baseball game Tuesday, April 7.
CBA scored three times in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 5-4 lead and added a run in the sixth to go up two runs before Shaker put together its last-inning rally. Nick DeMarco’s two-out, two-run single put the Blue Bison in front for good.
Nick DeMarco finished with two hits, while his twin brother, Dom DeMarco, contributed an RBI triple for Shaker (2-0). Brogan Barker had three singles.
Justin Decker and Davis Payne each doubled for CBA (0-1).
