Shaker held on to edge Bethlehem 14-13 in a Suburban Council South Division game Tuesday, April 7.
The Blue Bison took a 4-2 lead in the first quarter before engaging in a back-and-forth battle with the Eagles that ended in a one-goal victory.
Matt Woods scored six goals and added four assists for Shaker. Jared Hoff contributed four goals and an assist, and Stephen Rehfuss added a goal and four assists. Goaltenders Andrew Leahy and Christian Schopp combined to stop 12 of the 25 shots they faced.
Brad Bettinger tallied six times and assisted on three other goals to lead Bethlehem’s offense. James MacKrell and Mike Kennedy each added hat tricks, and goaltender Dan Comber made 19 saves.
