LATHAM — The Shaker boys bowling team had a difficult time with Burnt Hills, dropping four out of five points at Spare Time on Thursday, Feb. 4.
Overall, Burnt Hills had a total pin count of 3,573 while the 6-3 Shaker, with a starter in quarantine and unable to bowl, knocked down 3,270.
Matt Heinze led the Bison with a high game of 247 and a three-game series of 622. His teammate Logan Blind a high game of 216 and a three-game series of 613 while Logan Cooper and Jessica Sweet had a series of 533 with a high game of 194, Logan Cox had a 520 series, Isiah Vazquez had a 493 and John Heinze rolled a 489.
Derek Bellamy led Burnt Hills with a series of 699 and a high game of 276.
The two teams competed at their respective home lanes and the scores were compared after the fact to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
