BETHLEHEM — The Eagles came up short in a bid to take down the undefeated squad from Shen.
Shen led by a point after the first period on Tuesday, Jan. 28, and outscored Bethlehem 19-6 in the second to take a 14-point lead into the locker room. The Eagles fought back to within 10 headed into the fourth quarter but came up short for a final of 67-54.
Bethlehem’s Will Davis led all scorers with 16 while Kendrick McCann had 12 and Orlando DiBacco had 10 for The Eagles. Marko Gibbons, the team’s leading scorer, was held to just two points on the night, his lowest of the season.
Shen had four players with double digits: Jake Reinisch had 13, Luke Lavery and Devin Dzikas had 11 each and Andrew Martin had 10.
With the win, Shen moves to 8-0 and sits atop the competitive Suburban Council Blue Division. Bethlehem is at 8-2 and in third place behind the 8-1 team from Niskayuna.
On Friday, Jan. 31, Bethlehem will host CBA (3-5) and Shen will host Niskayuna.
