SPOTTED: Colonie beats LaSalle in North South Classic

ALBANY — The Garnet Raiders outscored the Cadets of LaSalle 20-12 in the fourth quarter to win a Slam North South Classic game at the Washington Avenue Armory on Saturday, Jan. 25.

Colonie’s Marcus Shelton led all scorers with 28 points while Brendan Coyle had 12 and Victor Pharr had 11.

Kaylon Dickson had 13 to pace LaSalle, of the Colonial Council, and his teammate Jimyh had 12.

Colonie is 5-4 in Suburban Council play and 10-5 overall. LaSalle is 9-0 in the Colonial Council and 11-3 overall.

Colonie will host Burnt Hills on Tuesday, Jan. 28 and host Albany on Friday, Jan. 31 before heading to Niskayuna on Tuesday, Feb. 4. LaSalle will host Schalmont on Friday, Jan. 31.
