COLONIE – Seniors came up big for The Jets on Saturday, Feb. 10, and beat Guilderland 5-0 in the squad’s last home game of the regular season.

Senior Team Captain Tyler Wilson scored three goals and was assisted on all three by senior Joe Malloy. Senior Andrew Vosburgh also picked up an assist on two of the goals.

David Clemenzi scored first for Shaker/Colonie (6-9-1, 6-13-1) on assists by Scott Matson and Frankie Congiusta. And the last goal was by Vosburgh, unassisted.

In goal, seniors Ali Caruso and Dan Malloy split the duties and made a combined 19 saves in the shut out.

For The Storm (1-15,2-16) from Guilderland-Mohonasen-Scotia Glenville Daniel Cooper had 36 saves.

Between the first and second periods, The Jets held its Senior Night ceremony.
