The Bethlehem boys swimming team raised its dual meet record to 5-0 with a 106-80 victory over Mohonasen/Schalmont last Thursday in Rotterdam.
Alex Lednev and Zachary Kundel each earned two individual wins for the Eagles. Lednev took first place in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle races, while Kundel won the 50- and 100-yard freestyles.
Taylor Van Cott contributed a victory in the 100-yard backstroke, and Joey Drew added a win in the 1-meter diving competition for Bethlehem.
Mohonasen-Schalmont’s highlight came in the 100-yard butterfly where Michael Dugan set a Section II record with a first-place time of 50.46 seconds. Dugan also won the 200-yard individual medley.
Bethlehem performed well again in a 97-89 victory over Shaker last Tuesday.
Van Cott and Kundel led the Eagles with two individual victories. Van Cott finished first in the 100-yard butterfly and the 100-yard backstroke, while Kundel earned victories in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard breaststroke.
Frankie Dyer had wins in the 200- and 500-yard freestyles for Shaker.
In other swim meets last Tuesday, Guilderland-Voorheesville evened its league record at 1-1 with a 95-87 victory over Saratoga Springs.
Jonathan Wheeler and Michael Schaffer each had a pair of victories for Guilderville. Wheeler won the 50 and 100 freestyles, while Schaffer took first place in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Sean Molloy added a win in the 1-meter diving competition.`
