No more stolen milk money or being shoved in lockers. At Sand Creek Middle School bullying will not be tolerated thanks to a new initiative to end bullying within and outside school walls.
The program, called the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, encourages local businesses to sponsor it by making a $100 donation. As a result, the business name will be printed on school-wide t-shirts, and signs with read anti-bullying messages.
T-shirts will be handed out on Oct. 8 at the school’s CreekFest-an event being sponsored to kick off the bullying program.
