BETHLEHEM — The New York State Department of Transportation announced that eastbound Route 85 in Bethlehem between Blessing and Krumkill roads will be closed from 11 p.m. tonight (Jan. 19) to 5 a.m. Friday (Jan. 20).
The closure will allow DOT crews to make repairs to the joints of the bridge over the Thruway. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to Blessing Road, while westbound traffic will not be affected.
Additional joint repairs may be scheduled later this year for the bridge, near the border of Albany and Bethlehem.
