A vehicle traveling northbound on the New York State Thruway crashed at approximately 10:30 a.m. this morning (Sunday, Oct. 30) and went off the road between exits 22 and 23 in Selkirk, rolling over into the woods.
It took nearly half an hour for first responders to extricate both occupants, who were transported to Albany Medical Center. Their condition is as yet unknown.
It has been reported that driving under the influence of drugs is a suspected cause, but no other information has been released.
State police are investigation the accident.
