ALBANY — NYS Route 85 will be closed this weekend as road crews replace a large, overhead sign that spans the width of the highway.
The New York state Department of Transportation states the closure will be from Saturday, March 19 at 4 a.m. to Sunday, March 20 at 5 a.m.
The closure effects the northern most spur of the highway, between the exits for the Harriman State Campus at Exit 3 and for I-90 at Exit 4.
Motorist will be directed on a detour thorough the Harriman Campus, where they can take the campus ring road and access Route 85 for Krumkill Road and further points south.
North bound motorists will also proceed through the Harriman Campus where they will be directed to I-90.
