ALBANY COUNTY Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk outscored Voorheesville 12-6 in overtime to defeat the Blackbirds 60-54 Friday, Feb. 5, in a Colonial Council boys basketball game.
Sky Rebeor netted 16 points, and Michael Babcock added 15 points for the Indians, who relinquished a six-point lead in the fourth quarter before pulling out the win in extra time.
Scott Glasheen’s 20 points paced Voorheesville. Alex Giordano and Sean Nolan each contributed 12 points.
Elsewhere in the Colonial Council, Watervliet defeated Catholic Central 48-44. A.J. Edge scored 14 points, and Joey Atkins chipped in with 13 points for the Cannoneers.
Mike Wynn’s 34-point night helped Christian Brothers Academy pull out an 85-83 Suburban Council win against Albany.
Sloan Seymour poured in 22 points, and Ian Schultz added 11 points for CBA. Maurice Skeen’s 24 points paced Albany.
Bethlehem edged Colonie 74-73 in overtime. Ryan Murray led the Eagles with 23 points, while Luke Dole and Michael Ortale each added 13 points.
Bryce Waterman dropped in five three-pointers on his way to a 29-point night for Colonie. Isaiah Moll and Josh Paszkowski contributed 13 points apiece.
Guilderland used a 14-4 run in the second quarter to defeat Columbia 69-54. Andrew Sischo netted 31 points, and Michael Wine chipped in with 16 points for the Dutchmen.
