TROY – Downtown streets were closed to motorists as scores of people walked the blacktop in period garb for the city’s annual Victorian Stroll.
The Victorian era is marked by Queen Victoria’s reign over the British Empire between 1837 to 1901. Troy has organized this annual event for nearly as long a period since 1982, enticing people to return to the city and enjoy local businesses and storefronts.
