TROY — Bragging rights are at stake as local eateries pit their best against each other at the 12th Annual Troy Pig Out at Riverfront Park on Saturday, July 13.
The day will feature vendors, music and special dishes from a handful of area restaurants competing in two categories:

It’s an official Empire State competition sanctioned by New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo, citing New York pride in its place as the site of events that highlight the Empire State and its tradition of excellence in offering unique foods and specialty dishes. Many of these recipes have often endured through the generations.
One of the most loved events in the Capital District, the Troy Pig Out is a full-day of fun where culinary competitors battle it out for best barbecue.
Andrew Mirabile headlines the day’s music, which will also include a performance by C.K. & The Rising Tide.
The event starts at 10 a.m. at Riverfront Park in Troy, and continues until 9 p.m.
