COLONIE — Hundreds of people took a step back in time at The Pruyn House on Sunday, Sept. 9.
The annual Old Fashioned Sunday gave the Friends of the Pruyn House an opportunity to show off the Casparus Pruyn Mansion, built between 1925, and the outbuildings and grounds on Old Niskayuna Road.
Featured events included old time craft demonstrations like blacksmithing, wood working and sheep shearing, children’s activities, story-telling, art exhibits and music by the Town of Colonie bands.
