Pretty Much the Best Comedy Show With Doug Smith

SCHENECTADY — Comedian Doug Smith will be performing at Proctors theatre on Saturday, April 28 at 8 p.m.
Doug Smith is a New York City comedian that has been featured on Gotham Comedy Live and was recently on Conan. Smith is also the creator of web series Secret Weapon, and was a finalist in NYC’s Funniest Comedian competition. Ethan Pullman and Thomas Attila Lewis will also be performing.
The event is $15 in advance, and $20 on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased at www.proctors.org

7th Annual Run and Walk for Parkinson’s
Corning Preserve – Sunday, April 29
ALBANY — The 7th Annual Run and Walk for Parkinson’s will be held at Corning Preserve on Sunday, April 29 at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
The 5k run will be held at 11 a.m., and all runners will receive a t-shirt with admission. At 11 a.m. walkers are encouraged to take in the great atmosphere and show support for those with parkinson’s disease. All funds raised will be given to Parkinson’s research and support groups.
The run costs $30, and registration can be done at www.hopesoars.org
Corning Preserver is located at 1 Quay St. in Albany.
