A throwing error allowed Sean Egan to score the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning in Shaker’s 4-3 victory over Bethlehem Tuesday, April 29, in a Suburban Council baseball game.
Egan led off the inning with a double and scored when Dom Demarco’s sacrifice bunt led to the decisive error. Demarco also had an RBI single for Shaker (5-4 league, 7-5 overall).
Nick Politi had a two-run double in the top of the fourth inning for Bethlehem (2-8, 5-8).
