Delmar residents Will and Jackson Aldam helped Berkshire School win the New England Prep School baseball title this season.
Will — who transferred from Bethlehem Central High School — posted a 5-0 record as a pitcher for Berkshire. He amassed a 1.27 earned run average in 28 innings pitched, and he allowed three or fewer hits in three of his eight starts. Among his highlights were a five-inning, no-earned run effort against perennial power Salisbury School and a complete-game two-hitter against Gunnery.
Jackson overcame a broken jaw he suffered in a collision at first base early in the season to pitch three consecutive shutouts to close the season. In his final appearance, Jackson allowed one hit in five innings to help Berkshire beat Gunnery in a playoff game.
