The voters spoke last week, and they named Shenendehowa as their choice to win the Section II Class AA softball title. This week, we’re looking for your Suburban Council boys lacrosse most valuable player. This award belongs to the player who was most instrumental in his team’s performance. Your choices are:
Dan Comber (Bethlehem) — The only goaltender to make the list, Comber was Bethlehem’s bright spot as the sophomore made 261 saves and owned a .640 save percentage.
Cody Dyer (Guilderland) — The senior attacker has scored 44 goals to lead the Dutchmen this season.
D.J. Edick (Shenendehowa) — Edick emerged as one of the top goal scorers in the Suburban Council with 48 markers.
Luke Goldstock (Niskayuna) — The North Carolina-bound senior has 57 goals and 30 assists on the state’s No. 1-ranked Class B team.
Tim Leahey (Shaker) — Leads the Blue Bison with 39 goals this season.
Since we’ve got Memorial Day Weekend coming up, you have until noon Friday to vote in this week’s poll. So, submit those votes today.
