In what turned into a three-person race last week, CBA’s Kyle Stockman out-distanced Shenendehowa’s Brian Walter and Saratoga’s Dakota Smith as your pick for the best goaltender in the Capital District High School Hockey League.
This week, we hit the home stretch of the winter sports season by asking you to pick who will win the Section II Class AA boys basketball title. We have five quality teams for you to consider. They are:
Bethlehem (16-2) — The Eagles won the Suburban Council South Division title and posted a non-league win against Christian Brothers Academy
CBA (16-2) — The Big 10 champions are seeking their fifth consecutive Class AA title and their eighth Sectional crown in the last 10 years
Green Tech (13-3) — The Albany charter school played an aggressive independent schedule and posted several key wins including victories over state powers Collegiate, Peekskill and Albany Academy
Shaker (16-2) — The Blue Bison won the Suburban Council North Division title for the second year in a row
Troy (14-3) — The Flying Horses split their two-game season series with CBA, and they have a quality non-league win against Newburgh Free Academy
Make your picks in the box to the left side of the screen. Voting will be open until 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
