COLONIE — The Voorheesville boys soccer team’s season came to an end in the Class C finals at Colonie High on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the feet of Maple Hill.
Maple Hill beat the Blackbirds 4-3 with a header by Colby Frazier three minutes into the first overtime period.
Maple Hill took a 2-0 lead into the half but Voorheesville tied it up with two of their own in less than a minute and Jacob Bogdany gave them a short-lived 3-2 lead with his second goal of the game. David Ambuhi also scored for the Colonial Council champs.
Dillon Halvax had three goals for Maple Hill, which will now compete in the state playoffs.
