BETHLEHEM — The boys lacrosse team won a Suburban Council decision over Colonie 16-1.
Bethlehem jumped out to a 6-1 lead after one and then scored 10 unanswered on Tuesday, April 12.
Evan Diligent had five goals to lead Bethlehem while George Rhatigam had two goals and four assists and Dan Johnson had three goals. Dane Jones had two goals and two assists while Henry Lane had three assists, Mason Adams had a goal and an assist and Luke Sheraw, Zach Prince Dylan Austin and Cade Jones all had goals for Bethlehem.
Josh Campbell had the lone bit of offense for Colonie with the team’s lone goal.
In goal, Robert Adams had six goals for Colonie while Tyler Novak had three for Bethlehem and Zack Novak had two.
The win on April 12 was Bethlehem’s first of the year but The Eagles came back to drop a game against Shenendehowa on April 14 to go to 1-3 on the season.
Bethlehem hosted CBA on April 19, after this paper went to press and was set to host Saratoga on Saturday, April 23.
Colonie lost to CBA on Thursday, April 14, to go to 1-4 on the season. The Raiders were set to play at Columbia on Tuesday, April 19, and at Shenendehowa on Thursday, April 21.
