SPOTTED: Bison bowlers get by Ballston Spa

COLONIE — The Shaker boys bowling team got by Ballston Spa by a total pin count of 3,390 to 3,116 on Thursday, Jan. 7 at Spare Time, and won all five points.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the two teams rolled at their home lanes and then compared scores remotely.

Logan Blind led the Bison with the day’s high three-game series of 632 — 198, 229 and 205. His teammate, Isiah Vazquez had the day’s high game of 233 along with a 169 and a 180 for a series of 582.

John Heinze had a 612 triple (213, 205, 194) for the Bison while Matt Heinze had a 534 triple (204, 181, 149,) Logan Cox had a 528 (192, 179, 166,) and Ryan Harris had a 502 (177, 173, 152.)

Kam Hallas led the Ballston Spa with a high game of 226 and with a 201 and 178 had a 605 triple. Hunter Wade had a 543 and Brian Antware had a 542.
