SCHENECTADY — Ten different Raiders scored in a 12-0 rout of Schenectady High on Friday, Oct. 16.
It was the Patriots first game of the season, and Colonie dominated the at both ends of the field throughout a steady rain that fell all afternoon.
Sofia Sanzo and Brooke Dufour had two goals each for the Raiders while Julia Bancheri, Hailey Blake, Abbie Irons, Ella Irons, Kylee Keegan, Hailey Lotz, Kayla Novak and Nosa Omorogbe each had a goal.
Emma York had the shutout for Colonie but was not called on to make a save. In goal for Schenectady, freshman Arwen Summers had 14 saves.
Colonie (1-1-1) will travel across town to play at Shaker on Tuesday, Oct. 20 and play at Niskayuna on Saturday, Oct. 24.
