COLONIE — The Bison beat the Raiders in straight sets and have the town’s early season girls volleyball bragging rights.
In Shaker’s season and home opener, the squad bested its cross town rival by scores of 25-12, 25-22 and 25-20.
Samantha Hardwick had seven kills, four aces and six digs and Reilly McCarthy three aces, six points and two blocks for the Bison.
Shaker will next play at Bethlehem on Thursday, Sept. 5 and Colonie will play at Scotia-Glenville on Friday, Aug. 30 and then at Ballston Spa on Thursday, Sept. 5.
