CLIFTON PARK — The Colonie girls advanced on Thursday, Feb. 21, by beating rival Guilderland 59-54.
The Raiders, the No. 4 seed, will now play top seeded Shenendehowa in the Class AA, Section II semifinals on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The tip is slated for 6:30 p.m.
Colonie outscored Guilderland 22-13 in the fourth quarter in what was a tight game throughout.
Aliyah Wright scored 19 for Colonie to lead all scorers while Alivia Paeglow scored 16 and Kyara Triblet scored 14. Makayla Blake chipped in eight and Ahnalese Pearson had two.
Graci Serravillo had 16 for the Lady Dutch while Valencia Fontenelle-Posson had 14 and Grace McFerran had 12. Graycen Dubin had six, Bella Gitto had five and Jaime Golderman had a point to round out the scoring for Guilderland.
