BETHLEHEM — After an intense double overtime game that led to a shootout, the No. 4 seed Lady Dutch walked away with a 1-0 win in the first round of the Section II, Class A sectional play against the No. 5 seed Eagles.
Sophia Sericolo scored the game’s lone goal in the five-player per team shootout while Guilderland goalie Jazzy Jimenez made all five saves against Bethlehem.
Guilderland will now play the No. 1 seed squad from Shen on Thursday, Oct. 25.
