COLONIE – The Bison lost a non-conference game 9-8 to Queensbury in the final seconds of play on Thursday, April 20.
Rachael Spaulding led the Spartans of Queensbury with two goals and two assists and Devon Bolen had three goals – including the game winner with 16 second left – for the Spartans of the Foothills Council.
Standout Maeve Lennon had five goals and an assist for Shaker (4-1, 4-2.)
Kayleigh Papa had a goal and an assist and Kate Julien and Caroline O’Brien each chipped in a goal for the Blue Bison.
Caitlin Bolen had a goal and four assists, Natasha Rahal had two goals, Jordan Bentley had a goal to round out the scoring for Queensbury.
Emily Polsinello had five saves for Shaker while her counterpart for Queensbury, Jen Paszko, had nine.
