VOORHEESVILLE — Voorheesville struck for a pair of second-quarter touchdowns on its way to beating Stillwater 34-13 in a Class C football game Saturday, Sept. 17.
Blackbirds quarterback Ryan Daly connected with Ethan Richardson on a 43-yard touchdown pass early in the second quarter to break a 7-7 tie, and Shawn Morin added a 1-yard touchdown plunge in the final minute to make the score 21-7.
Dalton Esposito added a pair of touchdown runs for Voorheesville, which improved its record to 2-1. Stillwater suffered its first loss of the season following a pair of victories.
