Dear editor.
Bethlehem Grange 137 needs the community’s support to keep us in good standing and financially solvent. We, like everyone else, have been shut down for many, many months and we still face the possibility of being shut down again if COVID-19 makes its appearance by increasing in numbers of infected individuals.
We need you help with our Plant Sale/Bake Sale to be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9-3. Come to our sale at Bethlehem Grange 137, 24 Bridge St., Selkirk, NY 12077, and get yourself some houseplants for the fall and winter months to keep green in your life, which also helps with your moods and cleans the air. We’ll also have bulbs for fall planting, some bushes and more.
We are also looking for houseplants and outdoor plants that you don’t want to take inside for the the fall, winter and spring. Don’t throw them out! Donate them to Bethlehem Grange 137!! Call Jackie at 518-810-6031, Charles Ryan at 518-227-8954, or Carol Carpenter at 518-421-1384. If you’re downsizing your house plants, we’ll gladly accept your donations!!
We also need the community’s support for your choice chicken or rib BBQ on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 3:30-6 or when sold out! The dinners are $13 each with home baked goods available for an additional purchase. Most are $1 each. The BBQ is on 678 NY Rt 9W, Glenmont, NY 12077. The BBQ will be on the east side of Rt 9W. There will also be Bethlehem police for traffic control.
Thank you,
Carol Carpenter
