The ‘Behold:’ An Artist’s Story

He’ll talk about and illustrate his creation of the 10-foot bronze, Roots-inspired “Behold” monument honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (photo below)
“Behold” overlooks Dr. King’s tomb at the King National Historical Park in Atlanta, Georgia. A memorable, profoundly personal, 10-year odyssey related by the artist who worked with King’s father (“Daddy” King), Mrs. Coretta Scott King, Hon. John Lewis, and Alex Haley to create, independently, a permanent, historically-significant tribute to King.
