I switch between country and Christian music stations and some classic rock.
What have you been reading lately?
“For You They Signed” by Marilyn Boyer, and “Battlefields and Blessings” by Jane Hampton Cook.
What is your favorite show on TV?
“Modern Family,” my guilty pleasure.
What was the last movie you saw?
The last move I saw at the theaters was probably “Lone Survivor.”
Could you describe what your dream vacation would be?
Touring the historical sites of America.
What are some of your hobbies?
Collecting American history items and rooting for the (sigh) St. Louis Rams.
What would your last meal be?
A giant fried seafood platter.
Who is the one person (dead or alive) that you would most like to meet?
Jesus Christ, but if not, George Washington.
What is your favorite local moment or memory?
Every time the voters in New Scotland elect me and trust me with their office.
What is something you think most people would be surprised to learn about you?
It would probably be my love of American History and the books and pamphlets that I’ve collected.
