ALBANY – A 31-year-old was shot in the leg Wednesday, Sept. 14 at around 9:30 p.m. on Orange Street.
Police were notified by staff at Albany Medical Center Hospital that a male patient had just entered the emergency room with a gunshot wound.
The victim, who police are not identifying, told police he was shot by an unknown assailant while on the 300-block of Orange Street.
He was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call detectives 462-8039.
It is the fourth shooting in Albany in a week. It’s unclear if they are related.
