A Feura Bush teenager allegedly stole a candelabrum from a neighbor’s home and pawned the item, according to police.
Albany County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested Andrew Houghtaling, 19, of 552 Onesquethaw Creek Road, on Thursday, April 2, and charged him with burglary in the second degree, a felony, and petit larceny.
Police said the victim on Wednesday, April 1, reported a Gorham silver candelabrum worth $800 was stolen from their home. Houghtaling allegedly sold the at a pawnshop in the Town of Colonie, according to police, and the item could not be recovered.
Houghtaling was arraigned in New Scotland Town Court and remanded to Albany County jail without bail.
