A Coxsackie man was arrested last week after police said he allegedly made plans to meet with someone who he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
Ravena police arrested Ethan Call, 23, on Thursday, April 23. Police said Call had been in communication with a police investigator posing as a 14-year-old girl.
He then allegedly made plans with the “girl” to meet and have sex. Call was arrested for felony attempted rape in the second degree, felony attempted criminal sex act in the second degree, and a violation for unlawful possession of marijuana.
Call was also arrested for an outstanding bench warrant for a domestic incident involving a girlfriend. As a result he was charged with felony aggravated family offense and misdemeanor assault in the third degree.
Call was arraigned in Ravena Justice Court and sent to the Albany County jail without bail.
