State Police arrested a Troy man after he was allegedly found with a handgun he did not have a permit for.
Police pulled over Traleck Dickson, 28, at about 10:41 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, for speeding on Route 7 in Colonie. Police said he had a suspended Massachusetts driver’s license and, after searching the car, they allegedly found a Smith and Wesson Military & Police .357 semi-automatic pistol loaded with a 10-round magazine.
Dickson was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a felony, and unlawful possession of certain ammunition feeding devices, a misdemeanor.
He was arraigned in Colonie Town Court and remanded to the Albany County jail without bail.
