State Police checking on a disabled vehicle along State Route 7 in the Town of Cobleskill allegedly discovered a cache of marijuana.
Police on Saturday, Feb. 9, at approximately 3:30 p.m., pulled over to investigate the vehicle and interviewed three people standing outside of it. One person allegedly told police the group was headed to Cobleskill and it was his girlfriend’s car, pointing to a female in the front seat. Police attempted to ask the woman for identification, but she allegedly refused to open her window. Police then opened the car door and said there was a strong odor of marijuana.
After conducting a search, police arrested Trevaughn M. Haggray, 18, of Hagaman Avenue, Schenectady, on the charge of unlawful possession of marijuana.
Haggray was released on an appearance ticket and scheduled to appear in the Town of Cobleskill Court on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
