State Police arrested two Rochester residents attending Camp Bisco on several drug charges at an established traffic stop on Batter Street in Duanesburg
State Police on Sunday, July 15, at approximately 1 a.m., stopped a vehicle at the checkpoint and found a passenger, Joshua R. Dangler, 24, allegedly acting “erratic” and appearing to be under the influence of drugs. After police interviewed Dangler and the driver, 19-year-old Tisha A. Brice, the two allegedly claimed they were leaving the Camp Bisco music festival in Mariaville, according to police.
Upon further investigation, police allegedly found approximately six ounces of cocaine hidden in the vehicle. Police also allegedly found hallucinogenic mushrooms, MDMA and marijuana in the vehicle.
Dangler and Brice were arrested and each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, both felonies, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Police said Dangler was allegedly found under the influence of bath salts. He was transported to Ellis Hospital for medical care due to his erratic behavior, according to police.
Dangler was arraigned at Ellis by Duanesburg Town Justice Enders and was remanded to the Schenectady County jail without bail.
Brice was also arraigned by Judge Enders and remanded to the Schenectady County jail on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 secured bond.
