Guilderland Police are investigating a crash that left a teen driver and his three passengers hospitalized.
Police said Michael Reehl, 16, of Guilderland was driving on McKown Road on Saturday, Nov. 12, when he lost control of his car. The vehicle went off the road and struck a tree. The crash, which happened around 11p.m. at the intersection of McKown and Westlyn Place, left Reehl and his passengers pinned inside the car.
All four had to be removed from the car by rescue personnel. Police said the crash victims suffered serious physical injuries, and were taken to either Albany Medical Center Hospital or St. Peter’s Hospital.
The accident is under investigation, and police said charges are pending. Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to call Guilderland Police at 356-1501.
