State Police in Clifton Park arrested a Latham woman and charged her with various felonies on Wednesday, Oct. 26, according to police reports.
Stacy Hall, 39, was charged with three counts of forgery in the second degree (Class D felonies), one count of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree (Class E felony) and three counts of petit larceny after an investigation that lasted months, according to police reports.
According to police reports, in June 2011, a Colonie man reported his SEFCU check cashing card missing or stolen and found several purchases that he had not made that totaled more than $2,000 from businesses in the Clifton Park area. State Police in Clifton Park investigated the larcenies and obtained video footage of the person using the complainant’s card in the various businesses but were unable to identify the woman. The photo was publicized on Channel 6’s Perp Patrol and a tip was phoned in with the woman’s identity, according to police reports.
