ALBANY — Ever want to buy a Bentley?
Now is your chance.
The state Office of General Services is auctioning off the British luxury sedan during a property auction on Wednesday, July 10.
According to Edmunds, a 2018 Bentley Flying Spur W12 S goes for about $244,000. The 2017 model on auction has 1,496 miles on the odometer, according to the state.
The Bentley will join other surplus vehicles, highway equipment and “miscellaneous property” at the auction, including a “fully loaded” 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 with about 17,500 miles.
Both vehicles were seized and forfeited to pay restitution as part of a 2018 fraud case involving the bribery of a Medicaid-funded insurance company employee.
In recent years, OGS has auctioned off a 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Nera, a 2013 Mercedes G63, a 2012 Porsche Cayenne, and a 2012 Audi A7. All of which were seized as the result of Medicaid fraud investigations.
The Auction on July 10 is slated to begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Harriman State Office Building Campus in Albany. Items on the block will be available for inspection starting at 8:30 a.m.
