COLONIE – Police arrested an Albany man for the Oct. 29, 2017, burglary of the NY Shooter Supply store at 1593 Central Ave.
According to Lt. Robert Winn, 21-year-old Nathan Hennessy, of 245 Delaware Ave., was identified as a suspect in the days following the burglary.
But the break in the case came when Albany police recovered one of the handguns stolen from the burglary from a residence in Troy. Four other handguns are still missing.
Hennessey has been incarcerated since Dec. 12, 2017 when he was arrested by Albany police on unrelated charges.
He is now charged with the felonies of burglary, grand larceny and criminal mischief as well as the misdemeanor of possessing burglar tools.
He was arraigned in Colonie Town Court and returned to the Albany County jail.
