The Colonie Police Department were trying to locate a 76-year-old female who was reported missing this afternoon and found her shortly after.
The missing female, Charlotte Seim, is a resident of the Massry Center at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home at 1082 Washington Ave. Ext. She was dropped off at Colonie Center with other residents at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30. She failed to rejoin the group at 11:30 a.m., as planned, and efforts to locate her in the mall were unsuccessful, police said. Police said they don’t expect foul play and added that she had gone missing before and was located in Guilderland. Police said she was found by a family member at the K-Mart at 1860 Central Ave. She was uninjured and brought back home.
Seim is described as a white female, 76, 5’6”, 170 pounds with grey hair, blue eyes and uses a metal cane. She was last seen wearing a brown coat with a hood.
