Ballston Spa scored four times in the second half to knock off Colonie 6-3 in Tuesday’s Suburban Council boys lacrosse game in Ballston Spa.
The Garnet Raiders (4-4 league, 5-5 overall) had a 3-2 halftime lead before the Scotties (6-1, 7-3) tallied twice in the third quarter to grab the lead for good. Ballston Spa tacked on two more goals in the final 12 minutes.
Mark Leslie scored two times, and Matt McDonald added a goal and two assists for the Scotties. Tom Clark had two goals for Colonie.`
