State Police in Wilton announced the arrest of Jason J. Lapierre for grand larceny in the second degree and falsifying business records in the first degree on Wednesday, Jan. 12.
Lapierre, 35, of 237 Green Barn Road in Kingsbury, is accused of embezzling more than $400,000 from the Hudson River Community Credit Union, located in Corinth, where he was employed from 2006 until December 2010 when he was fired, according to police reports.
The money has not yet been recovered and anyone with information is asked to contact State Police at 583-7010.
Lapierre was arraigned in Town of Moreau Court.
