On Friday, July 9, members of the Saratoga Springs Police Department’s Special Investigation Unit searched a home on Eastman Lane and arrested two people for narcotics-related charges.
At approximately 5 p.m., investigators searched the home of Danielle Rutigliano and turned up 45 grams of a white powder substance that tested positive for cocaine, according to police reports. The cocaine has a street value of about $4,500.
Rutigliano, 28, was arrested and charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with intent to sell and a felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree. Also arrested was Nigel R. Guy, 29, who was chraged with a felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.
Rutigliano and Guy were remanded to Saratoga County Jail, with bail set at $25,000 cash and $50,000 cash, respectively.
