Albany County small business owner Ted Danz will announce his candidacy for United States Congress on Saturday, June 5, at 10 a.m., at the Guilderland Elks Lodge, located on Route 146 in Guilderland.
Danz is the owner of the Family Danz Heating and Air Conditioning company, a well known Capital District business which employs more than 50 people.
Danz will face off with incumbent Democrat Paul Tonko in the fall election to represent the 21st Congressional District, which includes all of Albany, Schenectady, Montgomery and Schoharie counties and portions of Rensselaer, Saratoga and Fulton counties.
