Tomah W. Scott, 23, of Binghamton, was arrested by Guilderland police on Monday, April 5 for assault, unlawful imprisonment, contempt of court, and endangering the welfare of a minor, all misdemeanors.
According to police, Scott assaulted a female victim over the course of two days and prevented her from leaving a room at the Governor’s Motor Inn. Police said Scott’s behavior was in violation of a court order stemming from a prior incident, and he was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor do to the presence of a seven year old in the room at the time of the alleged crimes.
Scott was arraigned in Guilderland Town Court later in the day and remanded to Albany County jail. He is scheduled to return to the court on Thursday, April 8.
