The Niskayuna Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery which was reported at about 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 26 at the Pine Mart Gas Station, 3497 State St., according to police reports.
Niskayuna Police are reporting that three men entered the store which was unoccupied except for the clerk. During the robbery, two of the suspects displayed knives and demanded money from the register. The clerk was injured after being sprayed in the face with an unknown liquid substance by one of the suspects. The suspects left the gas station with an undetermined amount of cash and were last seen on foot westbound into the city of Schenectady.
One suspect was described as a black male in his twenties, thin and medium height, reported to be wearing a hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as a lighter skinned male, possibly Hispanic, tall with a muscular build that is described as wearing jeans. The third suspect was also light skinned, possibly Hispanic, described as taller with an average build who was also wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
The buisness was closed for two hours while investigators processed the scene, according to police reports.
