After interviewing six candidates, the Ballston Spa School District Board of Education selected a new member to replace Patrick Leanza, who resigned in December, at its Wednesday, Feb. 25, meeting.
Daniel Cramer, a resident of the Town of Ballston, was selected to serve until the district budget vote on May 19, at which voters will determine time a permanent term.
Cramer is a Ballston Spa alumnus and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education. He is employed by CR Bard in Queensbury as a manufacturing management team leader. He has taught history at Palmyra-Macedon Central Schools in Rochester and at LeMoyne College in Syracuse.
